Sherri Lynn McDuffie was born on August 1, 1968 to the late Ronald and Veronica McDuffie in Willingboro NJ. Sherri was the eldest sibling of three children and the only daughter. She attended primary and junior high school in Edgewater Park, then going on to Burlington City HS where she lent her beautiful voice to the school and Church chorus. Sherri was known to be a jokester who seem to always have a smile for you. She loved being everyone’s big sister, especially to her 2 younger brothers, Ron and Keith . After High School Sherri attended Rutgers University in New Brunswick NJ, but was one class shy of graduation. As an adult Sherri settled in her career at Burlington County Family Services where she was a Supervisor for over 5 years and continued to be a big sister to many mentally challenged adults, until falling ill to Multiple Sclerosis in 2003. For the past two years Sherri resided at the Aspen Hills nursing home in Pemberton NJ, suffering from complications brought on by a hard fought battle with M.S. On Wednesday November 30, 2016, at the Virtua Hospital in Mt. Holly, Sherri Lynn McDuffie was called home to be the Lord.
Sherri is survive by 2 brothers, Ronald and Keith, a sister in law, Carnetta, 2 nephews Richard Crandle, and Dominick McDuffie and 1 niece, Keyahna McDuffie, and host of cousins, aunts , uncles, and friends . She will surely be missed.
