Lorraine Fuller Bruce was born in Camden, New Jersey on March 23, 1939 to the late Herbert and Mildred Fuller. She passed away peacefully on March 5, 2023. Lorraine was educated in the Camden City School System where she excelled in all of her studies even skipping a grade. After Lorraines’ graduation, she met and married William Bruce Sr. They were blessed with a son, William (Mookie). Lorraine worked for Strawbridge and Clothier from the time they opened their new store in the Cherry Hill Mall until they closed. She then transferred to their new Clover Store in Marlton, NJ and continued working there until they closed in 1996. From there, she continued her employment at Wilmar Supply in Mt. Laurel, NJ. Lorraine finally retired in 2006. Lorraine was a member of Mt. Hope UAME, Camden, NJ from her childhood. She was also a member of their Usher Board for many years. Lorraine loved her jazz music and enjoyed her Sunday afternoons listening to music and reading the paper to keep up with current events. In addition to her parents, Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband William Sr., her siblings, Herbert Fuller Jr., Ruth Dixon, Reverend Leander Fuller, Jesse Clark, Bernard Fuller, Dolores (Minnie) Fuller. She was the last surviving sibling of the 7 siblings. Lorraine will be deeply missed by her only child, William (Mookie) Jr. (Linda), her granddaughter, Ebony Whitfield and great-granddaughter, Camille Wilder. She will also be missed by her bonus family William Ingram (Michelle), Erin Ingram (Pedro) and bonus great-grandchildren Brian Lee, Daymian, Cameron, and Erianna Rivera. She is also survived by many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends including her dear friend, Liz Nixon. Lovingly Submitted, The Family
