Obituary for Patricia Jenkins

January 3, 1959 – December 30, 2024

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Patricia Jenkins, who was called home on December 30th, 2024, in Mt.Laurel, NJ. Patricia, a loving mother, daughter, sister, and grandmother, was born on January 3, 1959, in Salem, NJ, to the late Cleveland Bundy Sr. and Cora Williams.

Patricia leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and devotion to her family, friends, and community. She was a devoted member of First Church of Deliverance, where she attended for many years and worshipped with unwavering faith. Always dressed in her Sunday best, Patricia’s spirit shone brightly through her love for God, her church, and her loved ones.

In her early years Patricia attended Camden School Systems. She then transitioned into her career, a dedicated caregiver for over 30 years, offering her nurturing spirit and tireless compassion to those in need. Whether she was tending to her family, friends, or others, her heart was always open, and her hands were always willing to serve. Her warmth and kindness will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Outside of her family and faith, Patricia had a love for the simple joys of life. She enjoyed visiting local yard sales, where she could hunt for treasures and chat with familiar faces in her community. A passionate reader of the Bible, she found comfort and guidance in its words and shared its wisdom with those she loved.

Though Patricia’s presence will be deeply missed, her legacy of love, compassion, and unwavering faith will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who experienced her boundless kindness and devotion.

Patricia’s family was her greatest joy. She was a proud and loving mother to her three children: Tennille (NeeNee) Bundy, Tykia (Byrd) Bundy, and Tamyris (SugaBear) Jenkins, and cherished her role as a grandmother to her beloved grandchildren: Nasim Macklin, Aalia Hill, Talise Banks, and Ta Keo Banks. She also embraced her son-in-law, Bear Banks, with love and affection.

She was a caring sister to her siblings: Jacqueline Quan, Dolores Lee, and the late Cleveland Bundy Jr., Jeffery Bundy, Paul Bundy, and Wilbert Bundy. Patricia’s bond with her family was a source of strength and joy throughout her life, and she will be deeply missed by her extended family, including a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her late husband, Timothy Jenkins, her father, Cleveland Bundy Sr., her step-father, Wilbert Williams, her brother, Cleveland Bundy Jr, and her nephew, Terek Bundy.

May Patricia rest in peace, knowing that her love and light will continue to shine brightly in the lives of those who loved her so dearly.
