Mrs. Quinn Ashley Washington, 43 of Burlington Township, New Jersey, passed away suddenly on April 7, 2025. Born on August 13, 1981, in Livingston, New Jersey, she brought warmth and joy into the lives of all who knew her.
Quinn was the beloved daughter of Wilbur and Marilyn Sellers. She grew up in New Jersey and graduated from Burlington Township High School. Quinn was an elite soccer player with the Medford Strikers Soccer Club—a sport that would remain a central part of her life. She continued her education at Villanova University, where she played collegiate soccer with determination and heart.
Quinn’s love for soccer extended beyond her own playing days; she became a dedicated coach for the Cherry Hill FC soccer organization, inspiring young athletes with her energy and encouragement. Her outgoing spirit made her a natural leader on the field. Whether cheering from the sidelines or nurturing a new plant, Quinn approached life with passion and grace.
Quinn was married to Nathaniel Washington on July 26,2008. A devoted and loving mother to Sareah, Isreal, and Elijah Washington, Quinn’s greatest joy came from her family, and the vibrant greenery of her cherished plants. She had a deep appreciation for nature’s beauty and found peace intending to flowers and attending flower shows with her mom. I Quinn also harnessed her creativity through unique designs of masks, Christmas tree ornaments, cards, and jewelry. Quinn loved Christmas so much that she would decorate three trees with her creations.
Quinn is remembered by those closest to her as a beacon of light—outgoing, loving, and full of life. Her presence left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to know her. In addition to her immediate family, she is survived by her Godfather, Dr. Spencer Holland, Aunt Phyllis Wise, Aunt Sandra Bellinger, Uncle Allen Wise, Jr, Aunt Cheryl Rodgers, Aunt Deborah Burke, Mother-in-law, Gabriela Oliver, Father-In-Law, Norman W. Washington, Brother-In-Law, Norman L. Washington, Sister-In-Law, Latoya Walston, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and cherished friends, including her long time girlfriends, Anita, Anika, Tasha, Jackie, and Alana.
Though words cannot fully capture the depth of this loss, may Quinn Ashley Washington’s memory continue to bring comfort and strength to all who were touched by her radiant spirit.
