Mother Moses was a woman who loved her family and the Lord. She was a woman who invested her life in others. She loved the her Church. She believed in doing thing excellently. She shared her faith in Jesus and His faithfulness, pointing people to the Lord as help and strength during difficult times. Mother Moses took the lead from her mother who traveled to Europe when many people of color would not venture out of their comfort zone. As a result she enjoyed the opera, ballet and classical music performances. She was proud of her children and often spoke of their accomplishments with the pride of a mother.
