Her Story

On Monday August 18, 2025, the Lord called Shanel Daneen Bloodworth to rest. Shanel was born August 31, 1984. She was the daughter of Lori M. Bloodworth and Timothy Holmes. Shanel was born and raised in Camden, NJ, where she received her early education and later on finished at Stone Mountain High School where she received her High School diploma. Shanel furthered her education by getting a certification for medical assistance and also some college at Lincoln Tech with future desires to be in radiology. Shanel started working as early as 16 at her first job at Taco Bell with a handful of jobs following throughout her life.

Our Beautiful angel was a role model for everyone around her. She was a loving sister, aunt, cousin, friend, and last but surely not least a mother. Her favorite things to do in her past time was listening to music, creating playlists, watching her favorite shows on cooking network and HGTV, reading, exploring food, and anything that involved her family and friends. Everywhere Shanel went and everyone she spoke to she left her mark, the light and positive energy she spread to others was undeniable and she will be truly missed.

Shanel was Predeceased by her mother Lori M. Bloodworth, Grandparents Paulette Williams, Kenneth Singleton, Albertis Reddick, Sarah Mae Holmes, and her brother De’Shawn T. Bloodworth.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Amya Campbell, her sisters Kiya Bloodworth, Jordan Hartlage, LaQuesha Seaberry, Nijeana Haskins, God Children Dejanae Bloodworth, Forte Collins, Kylief Hannah-Barfiled, nieces and nephews Taliana Dryden, Amir Muhammad, Kylie Seaberry, Karter Seaberry, Tyree, Norman, Noriana Norman, Asadi Norman(sevyn), Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, extended family, and friends.
