oseph was born in Philadelphia, PA on the second day of March 1939 where he grew up with his younger sister Jessica.
He soon realized early on that he had an affinity for anything mechanical, especially cars and trucks.
Soon after graduating High School, Joseph went to work for General Motors where they also recognized
his talents and sent him to school to learn how to rebuild transmissions. He became one of the youngest mechanics at the dealership that was completely rebuilding transmissions on site, a very big accomplishment.
Being thankful but not satisfied Joseph knew he could put his skills to better use for himself and sought out a career in the trucking business, and once that happened he knew he was doing what God had intended for him to do.
With a very hard work ethic, perseverance and the good fortune of surrounding himself with people who had the same drive to succeed at the highest level, Joseph set a standard of accomplishment that lasted over 6 decades and will be very hard to match.
There was always a warm smile with a friendly voice attached when you would see him, also a curiosity on how you were doing and if there was anything he could help you with. His pace was slow, steady and deliberate, always looking for a thing or two that he may have done the day before that he might be able to do just a little bit better today.
Joseph is survived by 1 sister, 2 sons, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
May God Bless him and may he forever rest in peace. He will be missed by many, but he will be missed, admired and cherished by many, many more.
