Pamela Denise Carter Obituary

Obituary for Pamela Denise Carter

Pamela Denise Carter was born on February 26, 1956, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Inell and Floyd Cater. At a young age, Pamela found the love of art and education. She was an avid painter and spent many hours at the Philadelphia free library reading and learning different subjects. Pamela graduated from Little flower Catholic high school for girls June 9th, 1974. Pamela had her first son Billy who was born in September 0f 1982 and her second son Brandon born in November of 1985. The two were the loves of her life and wanted only the best for them. Pamela expanded her education and obtained her Respiratory Therapist Certification in July of 1987 and continued to work in the field throughout her career. Pamela was also a proud member of The Lambda Beta Society, the national honor society for respiratory care professionals.

Pamela was very career driven and worked at all the major hospitals in the city of Philadelphia, however, her time with the Philadelphia Veterans Medical Center where, she spent 24 years is where she really found her work home. She was deeply committed to her work and cherished the relationships she built with her co-workers and the veterans she served. Pamela retired from the profession in July of 2017.

Pamela was also a devoted mother to her two sons, Billy and Brandon. In pursuit of the best education for her boys, she moved the family from Philadelphia to Willingboro, New Jersey. Education was a cornerstone of their household, and Pamela took great pride in watching her sons grow and achieve their goals. Billy and Brandon have nothing but fond memories of their mother and will truly miss her. They will continue to "do their duty" as she would always instruct the brothers.

A lover of travel, Pamela explored many states and Caribbean islands, embracing new experiences with enthusiasm.

Sadly, Pamela passed away peacefully on September 19, 2025. Pamela was a vibrant and career-driven woman who dedicated much of her life to helping others and raising her two boys, Billy and Brandon. Pamela leaves behind her loving mother, Inell; her sons, Billy and Brandon; her grandson, Kaeden; and her siblings, Effin, Barbra, and Larry. She will be reunited with her father Floyd and her nephew Charles.

Pamela's warm spirit, dedication, and love for her family and community will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew her.

A celebration of Pamela's life will be held at May Funeral home located at 45 Pine Street Willingboro NJ on October 11, 2025, to honor her memory and legacy
