Aida Marie Tricoche was born on October 9, 1955, in Camden, New Jersey to the late Modesto Victor Tricoche and Leonor Ortiz Tricoche. From this union, Aida, Dolores, Toni, Nati, Tony, and Kongo were born. Aida was the baby out of the bunch and now is rejoicing with her parents and brothers.

Aida started her education at Our Lady of Mount Carmel-Fatima grade school and then earned her high school diploma at Camden Catholic High School. After graduating, she continued her education and gained her associate’s degree from Rutgers University in Camden, New Jersey.

She then began her employment career working for the City of Camden, working at Rodent Control. Her hard work and advocacy skills earned her a position with Legal Services of South Jersey as a Case Manager, where she worked for more than 13 years.

Aida was down to earth and people-person; someone that everyone loved~ “if you knew her, you surely loved her”! She was very intelligent, and knew lot about everything, she could have a conversation with you about the streets and then turn around and have another conversation with others about business and politics. Never missing a beat! Aida was certainly a go getter, would give her last, always sharing with others, and had a great spirit within her, always smiling and laughing. She loved to read, dance her two steps with a spin, listen to music and even sing along to her favorite songs~ humming the lyrics she didn’t know. From her heart, she would give and always take care of everyone.

Aida leaves to mourn and cherish a lifetime of memories her children John Tricoche, Alexis Rodriguez, Nicole Calzada, Ayden Ortiz, and Jace Calzada; her older sisters, Dolores and Toni; host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Aida also leaves to mourn two of her closest friends since childhood, Helen and Glady’s (Peewee); better known as the three amigas.

Aida’s humming and infectious laughter will be forever missed!
