Remembering Debbie

Deborah Corsey was born to the late Frank Corsey and Minerva E. Corsey on October 18, 1951, in Woodbury, New Jersey. She departed this earthly life on Saturday, December 6, 2025.

Deborah, which most people called her Debbie, graduated from Deptford High School. Upon graduation, she moved to Camden, NJ, where she met her lifelong companion, the late Laurence Darby. They remained joined at the hip for 45 years until his untimely passing in February 2025. She worked many years at Visiting Nurses, as a Home Health Aide, Volunteers of America, and the most recent Vocational Research until she became ill.

She enjoyed cooking for family gathering during the holidays, going to Atlantic City, fishing and tending to her beautiful garden. She also likes doing puzzles in her spare time; as well as spending time with her grandchildren,

Preceding her in death is her mother and father, Frank and Minerva E. Corsey and Brother Keith Corsey.

She leaves to cherish her memories two daughters: Ebony Corsey(Adrien) and Linda Wilkins-Walker (Jason); four sons Michael Corsey, Jermaine Corsey, Kore Corsey and Laurence Corsey; 5 grandchildren: Mikelah Suarez, Arianna Corsey, Jayonna Walker, Alyah Simpson, Adaisha Hill, and Jasmine Corsey: 5 grandsons: Jaire Highsmith Jr, Aiden Johnson, Laurence Corsey Jr., Jaylin Walker and Jason Walker; 3 great granddaughters: Janiyah Cotton, Tiana Moragne, and Shaonna Hill; 1 sister Tina Perry; her daughter from another mother (Marie Jackson aka Mandy) and a host of relatives and friends.
