Martha C. Thomas, 83, passed away on January 23, 2026. Born October 11, 1942, in Mecklenburg County, Virginia, she was the daughter of Octavia Boswell Brown and John Brown. Martha was a graduate of East End High School, Class of 1961, and later relocated to New Jersey, where she married the late James Cornelius Thomas and raised her family in Burlington and Willingboro.

She retired from 3M after 19 years of service as a Quality Control Technician and also served as a Notary Public in the State of New Jersey. A devoted member of Alpha Baptist Church, she faithfully served as an usher.

Martha is survived by her sons James, Gregory, and Kenneth Thomas; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her sisters; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
