Ivette M. Irizarry

Ivette M. Irizarry, age 80, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at her home in Camden, New Jersey. She was born to her late parents, Julio Ramos and Trinidad (née Rosario) Ramos, on May 4, 1945, in Utuado, Puerto Rico. Ivette met her Predeceased Husband, Ruben Irizarry, in 1965. Together they raised four (4) children: Jose R. Irizarry, Fernando Irizarry Sr, Isaly Gonzalez, and Edith Irizarry.

Ivette’s warmth, laughter, and unconditional love filled our lives with joy. She was happiest when she was spending time with her family, taking care of her flowers and plants in her garden, sharing stories over coffee, and also doing word search puzzles.

She is survived by her children, Jose R. Irizarry, Fernando Irizarry Sr., Isaly Gonzalez (Alex), and Edith Irizarry, Grandchildren: Fernando Irizarry Jr., Alejandro A. Irizarry, Deborah S. Irizarry-Lugo, Alexis Gonzalez Jr, Ismaryllis E. Gonzalez, Giannyllis Irizarry, Joshua Irizarry, David Gonzalez, and Ivelisse Gonzalez. As well as eight (8) Great-Grandchildren, she is also survived by her siblings: Julia Ramos, Vicente Ramos (Tomasa), Angel L. Ramos (Maria Berrios), Candida Torres (Narciso), Cristobal Ramos (Sonia), Cristina Ramos, Jesus Ramos (Idalia), Angel A. Ramos (Mercedes), Reinaldo Ramos (Ofelia), Ismenia Goodwin-Ramos (Raymond) and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, Ruben Irizarry, Parents: Julio Ramos, Trinidad Ramos, Siblings: Santa Nieves, Victor Ramos & Adalicia Ortega.
