Russell Conwell Fortune was born February 20th, 1937, to the late John Frank Fortune and the late Mattie Fortune in Camden New Jersey and attended Camden City school system.

Russell was a laborer he was a diligent worker and spent his entire life devoted to family and his occupation. Russell was a laborer he was employed at Good And Plenty, Narricott Corporation, Tyson Foods, and the steak factory. He retired from the Chicken factory after more than twenty years in Camden New Jersey. Russell loved to work and hardly ever missed a day; rain, sleet or shine Russell was committed to going to work he was a provider. Russel loved spending time with his family and having huge barbeques and dinners for the family and the community everyone was welcome. There was not a holiday that he didn’t celebrate with food that he prepared, he was a laborer by trade, but his true passion and skill was cooking, Russell was a chef at heart and there wasn’t anything that he could not cook. One fondest memory of him is making homemade ice cream and candy Easter mornings.

Proceeding him in death his life partner Diane Graham, Parents Frank and Mattie Fortune, brothers Frank and Eddie Fortune, son Robert Furtune, bonus son Terry Graham, and Claudia Scott Fortune. Left to cherish his memories, his five children Darcell Fortune Murrell; Cheryl Fortune, Russell Furtune, Darryl Furtune (Barbara Anne Cook), Felson Graham, six bonus children Charles Graham (Michelle), Diantha Graham, Terrcas Clayton ( Marc), Damon Graham, Michael Mc. Clain, Charlett Graham, his sister Marget Fortune Overton, Grandchildren Phazon, Harmony, Layla, Blessing, Analiese, Modiana, Jamaine, Darraye, Darnell, Michael Jr, Michelle, Marlon, Russell Jr, Ashlee, Brittany, Natalie, Tyniesha, Paris, Asia, Darryl Jr, Darius, Skylar, Robert Jr, Christopher and Andre, bonus grandchildren Nyair, Zyeer, Nygere, Marshall, Samadja, Quamadja, Zaniah, Ciera, Channel.
