Ursla Y. Hall-McKenzie peacefully transitioned on February 25, 2026 surrounded by love. Born on July 17, 1947, in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, she was a woman of grace, strength, and unwavering faith.
Ursla carried herself in a polished manner and was the true definition of a lady, independent, accomplished, and strong, yet soft-natured at heart. Her feisty “shady” wit kept those around her smiling, and she never hesitated to speak truth with love. An accomplished businesswoman, she built a beautiful life through hard work and determination.
A devoted woman of God, Ursla put the Lord first in all she did and cherished her family deeply. She enjoyed the thrill of gambling and loved to travel and dance, embracing joy and laughter whenever she could. Her presence was unforgettable.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Simon "Bushie" Hall and Sebert "Mac" McKenzie. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving daughter, Reva Hall Lacy, son-in-law Lance Lacy, her beloved grandsons Dayshawn Hall (Roneeka) and Javier Hall-Soto, along with her brother Adonis Miller (Virginia “Jenny”) and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Though she will be deeply missed, we find comfort in knowing she is whole again and at peace in her eternal home.
