Rashawd R. Conquest was born in Camden, New Jersey, on January 13, 1991, to Michael Jones and Kniquea Conquest. At the age of 35, he departed this life suddenly on April 18, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones.

Rashawd received his education in the Pennsauken School District. Throughout his life, he worked multiple jobs, with his most recent employment being at JJ Pretzels in Pennsauken, New Jersey.

Rashawd was a soft-spoken young man with a smile that could light up any room. He loved his family deeply, near and far. He was a beautiful person, a loving father, and someone with a caring and compassionate spirit. Rashawd was known for his sense of humor and loved making everyone laugh.

Rashawd always had a kind word for everyone, and before ending a conversation, he always made sure to let you know he loved you. He was truly a pleasure to be around. Whenever he was given a task, he gave it his very best effort.

Rashawd believed strongly in his Islamic faith and was proud to be a part of the Muslim community. He studied Islamic doctrine faithfully until the very end.

Rashawd is reunited in heaven with his beloved brother, Davon T. Jones, along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was also preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Joyce and Walter Conquest Sr., and his grandfather, Artie Benson.

Rashawd leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Mark and Kniquea Cephas, and Michael and Dana Jones; his grandparents, Patricia Benson, Joan Cephas, Florrita Norris, Gregory Jones Sr., and John Wescott; his beloved daughter, A’iiyah Thompson; and his siblings, Mark, Kniquan, Ebony, Cynthia, Michael Jr., Marquise, Rasean, Matiya, Michael M., Montel, Michaela, and Dante.
