Norman Lewis was born to Jacquelyn Forney and Norman Lorche on July 11, 1952, in New York City. He was educated in the New York City public school system. Norman, affectionately known as “Butch,” spent his early years in Brooklyn with his mom, Jackie, stepfather, William Edmondson, and brother, Jase, where his love for all types of music developed. His twin children, Keith Anthony and Kysha, were born in 1971.

Norman relocated to South Jersey in the early 1980’s, where he lived with and helped take care of his dear aunt, Clara Redden. In the mid-80’s, Norman got on his bus to go to work and met his future wife, Terri, who was riding the same bus on her way home from work. They fell in love and were married in 1994. Norman played an integral part in raising Terri’s two daughters, Tamika and Rashanna.

Norman spent his entire career in the warehouse and logistics field, serving ten-plus years at Citation Graphics, and over twenty years with Aramark, working at Citizens Bank Park. When he wasn’t at work, he was tinkering in his basement, listening to music, gardening, cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles, or spending time with his loved ones. Norman loved to dance and was known to cut a rug! He also loved to travel.

Norman was pre-deceased by his son, Keith Anthony Robinson; mother, Jacquelyn Forney; stepfather, William Edmondson; and aunt, Clara Redden. He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Terri; daughter, Kysha Robinson; stepdaughters, Tamika Harris and Rashanna Kitchen; grandchildren, Eric Hill, Lakevia Mack (Brittany Anderson); Keyanna Mack (Angela), Samaya Kitchen, and Jahlia Kitchen; three great-grandchildren; brother, Jase Williams (Lee); sister-in-law, Joyce Quarles; brother-in-law, Harry Jackson; and a host of nieces and nephews, relatives, and friends.
