Celebrating The Life of Audrey Jean Rivera

On September 30 th , 1941 a beautiful baby girl was born in Washington, PA named

Audrey Jean Williams to the late Amanzie Sr. and Evangelist Lumelia Solomon

Williams. Sister Audrey departed this life on July 1, 2026 at Inspira Medical Center

in Vineland, NJ. Sister Audrey attended and graduated high school in Marianna,

PA, where she was raised for many years. Later Sister Audrey moved to Deerfield

Beach, FL and was united in marriage to the late Silvester Ortiz Rivera Sr. On

December 27 th 1957 and to this union six beautiful children was born Wanda,

Sylvester Jr., Jose, Yolanda, Cindy and Francisco.

Audrey and her late Husband moved their family to Rosenhayn, NJ in 1967. She

was employed with Venice Maid of Vineland, NJ, for ten years, she later went to

West Co. in Millville, NJ where she worked for another ten years. Audrey also

worked for Kimble Glass Company, where she retired after 14 1/2 years of

service.

Sister Audrey attended The Church of the Living God Pillar Ground of The Truth in

Clarksville, PA under the leadership of the late Bishop Freedmon Wilson Sr. She

moved to New Jersey and worshiped under the late Bishop Lewis Hays of

Vineland, NJ, she later joined Shiloh Baptist Church in Vineland, under the

leadership of Pastor James Dunkins, she later joined Temple of Faith Church in

Vineland, NJ under the leadership of Pastor Lavada Soles whom she loved very

dearly. Her Ministry was Kitchen, decorating and fund-raising committee.

Audrey kept to herself most of the time, people who came in contact with her

loved her and her great cooking. Audrey always had kind words to say and was

always telling them about GOD. She had a caring and loving heart and was always

willing to help anyone. Audrey was a loving Mother, who had much love for her

Children, Grandchildren as well as others Children and Friends. Sister Audrey

brought her Children up in Church, teaching them the way to Christ and right

from wrong. Audrey always said, “If I can say or do anything to help, my living will

not be in vain” another saying was “I never could have made it without GOD”.

I Love the Lord, He heard my cry and pitied every groan (Hymn based on

Psalm 116).

She leaves to cherish her legacy of loving memories of her four children Wanda

Walker (John) of Rosenhayn, NJ, Yolanda Rivera of Gouldtown, NJ, Cindy Streater

(Derek) of Rosenhayn, NJ, Francisco Rivera Sr. (Tonia) of Upper Deerfield, NJ, two

bonus daughters Roberta Stewart of Bridgeton, NJ and Stephaine Simmons, of

Upper Deerfield, NJ, three generations of Grandchildren, and a host of Nieces and

Nephews. Audrey was preceded in death by her loving Husband Silvester Sr, two

son’s Sylvester Jr and Jose’ two sisters Annabell Palmer and Mattie Rilley, six

Brother Amos Solomon, Amanzie Williams Jr., Clarence Williams Sr., Virgil

Williams Sr., Howard Williams and Carl Williams also known as Kasaib Abdulah,

and her companion Robert Stewart, two bonus Daughters, Valarie and Mary

Stewart.
