Obituary

Danilsa Ivette Perez affectionately known as "Nilsa," was born on June 3, 1966, in Santa Isabel, Puerto Rico. Danilsa was the beloved daughter of Rosael Perez and Guillermo Perez Sr. who precedes her in death. She was one of eight siblings: Nelson Perez, Guillermo Perez Jr., Fernando Perez (Victoria), Idali Perez-Church (Tracy), Paul Perez, John Williams, and Sara Medina.

As a young child, Danilsa moved from Puerto Rico to New York where she attended P.S 316 and Jackie Robinson School. She later relocated with her family to Camden, NJ where she attended Camden High School. Danilsa worked in Education as both a pre-school teacher and as a school lunch aide. Aside from working with children, Nilsa was also a devoted entrepreneur for many years.

Outside of work, Danilsa found joy in shopping, fashion, entertaining, and trying her luck at the casino. More than anything, however, she treasured time spent with her family. Whether hosting gatherings or simply being surrounded by those she loved. She found her greatest happiness in bringing people together.

Nilsa was a devoted daughter, loving mother, cherished grandmother, caring sister, treasured aunt, and loyal friend. She had a heart overflowing with compassion, a smile that could brighten any room, and an infectious laugh that could make everyone around her smile. She had a remarkable gift for making people feel welcome, valued, and deeply loved.

She will forever be remembered for her strength, generosity, and unconditional love she shared with her family and friends. She leaves behind countless cherished memories that will forever live in the hearts of those who loved her. Though our hearts are broken by her passing, we find comfort in knowing that the legacy of love, kindness, and faith she leaves behind will continue to live on in every life she touched.

Danilsa is survived by her devoted mother, Rosael Perez; her sons, Ruben Molina, Rolando Molina, and Heriberto Molina; her daughter-in-law Shahira Molina; her beloved grandchildren, Khloe Molina, Jeremiah Molina, Juelz Molina, Ishmael Molina, Cheyenne Chapman, and Jailen Bayliss; her longtime partner Jose "Kojack" Frontanez, her siblings, a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends, all of whom will miss her immensely.

She was welcomed into eternal peace by her beloved father, Guillermo "Don Willie" Perez, and all those who departed before her.

While we grieve her absence, we also celebrate a life, beautifully lived- and the incredible impact she made on so many. Her memory will forever be a blessing, and her love will remain in our hearts, always.
