Mary V Pizarro-Deariso Obituary

Mary Virginia Pizarro Deariso entered this world on December 30, 1942, in Moultrie, Georgia, born to the late Robert Wilson and Mary Wilson. She was the second eldest of eleven children: Barbara, Doris, Rebecca, Lorraine, Gene, Robert, Junie, Stanley, Noona, and Calvin.

Mary received her education in the New York City Public School System. During her high school years, she met Caesar Pizarro, whom she later married. Their union brought forth three children: Anthony Eugene Pizarro (Shay), Angela Pizarro, and Michael Andre Pizarro, who preceded her in death.

In 1967, Mary relocated her family from New York City to Berlin, New Jersey, to be closer to her mother. A devoted provider, she worked diligently throughout her life at Ancora Psychiatric State Hospital, the Council for Economic Opportunity (OEO), Target, and Whitehall Pharmacal.

In 1974, after the passing of her first husband, Mary met and later married Bobby Deariso, who also preceded her in death. Bobby lovingly called her his “Georgia Peach.” Together, they built a beautiful home and settled in West Atco, New Jersey, in 1979.

Mary was devoted to her family above all else. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She instilled strong values and a steadfast work ethic in her children and was someone her family and friends could always depend on for unwavering love, support, and guidance.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory: her children; her stepchildren; Tony Deariso, Patrick Deariso (Panviki), and Jennifer Deariso-Daniels (Eric) Spencer Deariso (Lakisha); her grandchildren Anthony “Champ” Pizarro (Kim), Brandon Pizarro, Teairra Pizarro, Andre Pizarro, Ashley Pizarro, and Devon Pizarro; and her great grandchildren Julian Pizarro, Ava Maldonado, Armani Maldonado Jr., Ren Pizarro, and Ronin Pizarro. She is also remembered fondly by a host of relatives and friends whose lives she touched with her kindness, strength, and grace. She is also remembered fondly by a host of cousins, relatives, and friends whose lives she touched with her kindness, strength, and grace.

Mary’s legacy is one of devotion, resilience, and love—a life lived in service to her family and in faithfulness to those she held dear.
