Life Story
Sally Marie Collins, who is affectionately known as “Little Sal”, went home to be with the Lord on November 26, 2016.
She was born on December 31, 1959 in Brooklyn, New York. She was the beloved daughter of the late Margaret Elizabeth Cephas and Theodore Horton. Sally received her education from the Camden Public School System and was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School class of 1978. In 1980, Sally enrolled in Camden County College to purse a degree in Nursing later to receive her certification in Phlebotomy. Sally was employed with Laboratory Corporation of America as a Phlebotomist at the time of her unsudden death. Sally had a smile that would light up a room. She was mesmerized by this new thing called “Social Media” and enjoyed posting and commenting. She was an advocate basketball fan and enjoyed most watching her son, nephew and cousin play.
In 1969, she met the Love of her life William O’Neal Taylor Jr., “When you touch someone with your spirit, and in turn they touch your soul with their hearts forever.” From their unity came four beautiful children.
Sally left us unexpectedly, but her spirit will live in us forever, though we may not see a way but God has a way and will see us through.
She is preceded in death by her father Theodore Horton, mother Margaret Cephas, brother Joseph Craig Collins “Walt” and sister Robin Denise Freeman.
