Obituary of Kevin M Randolph
Please share a memory of Kevin to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Kevin Maurice Randolph was born September 25, 1983 in Willingboro, NJ, to Apostle Dr. Maurice Randolph Sr., and Evangelist Clarissa Reddick Randolph. He went home to be with Lord on Friday, December 9, 2016.
Kevin was educated in the Willingboro School System, in Willingboro, NJ. He graduated from Willingboro High School in 2001.
He was a member of Christian Faith Assembly in Hainesport NJ, where he received Christ and was baptized at an early age. As a youth, he was active in Children’s Church, Sunday School, and Youth Ministry. He served as a junior usher and sang with the Voices of Faith Children’s Choir. He later served in Children’s Church as an assistant to Missionary Alice Jordan, Elder Esther Harris, and Sis. JoAnn Gales.
Kevin was an avid basketball player and participated on the Willingboro Basketball Sixers Team under coach Francis Reaves. He also played basketball and participated in gymnastics at the John F. Kennedy Recreation Center in Willingboro, New Jersey. His love for basketball was even expressed in the church where he played for the CFA youth basketball team.
Kevin worked in the dietary department of Burlington Woods Health Care Facility in Burlington, NJ. He later worked at Burlington Memorial Hospital in Mt. Holly, NJ as a patient transporter. He was also skilled in masonry and was a certified forklift operator.
Kevin was a bright and intelligent young man, who was well loved. All who knew him would say that he was outgoing with a charismatic personality. He was a leader, particularly to the young people around him, who saw him as mentor, protector, and friend. His life touched many as he extended his love in helping others. He was kind to the unlovable, and to those that some would consider unreachable. He had a natural ministry of helps, and was often found transporting friends to and from work, school, or doctor appointments. He would also help his friends by watching their children. He had a giving heart and was extremely generous, and was known to help many who were in need. He was very popular, even on social media, where he was known as “O G Randolph”. He and his father had an exceptionally close relationship. He was the apple of his mother’s eye, and center of her heart.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his father, Apostle Dr. Maurice Randolph Sr.; his mother, Evangelist Clarissa Reddick Randolph; four brothers, Min. Maurice Randolph Jr. (Debbie), Dr. Micheal L. Randolph (Francis), Elder Craig Randolph (Endrieka), Melvin Randolph (Christian); one sister, Cherleen Ames; six aunts, Kim Sinclair (Tyrone), Ida Overton, Celia Jones (Larry), Tulie Reddick, Dorothea Randolph, and Cheryl Jones (William); two uncles, Garland Carter (special friend Elois) and Sanders Kendrick; one god-brother, Jonathan Saloka; two god-sisters, Shannon McCray, and Jasmine Register; a best friend Ciara Desper; and host of other family and friends.
