Darnell Parker the daughter of Billie Kidd and the late Queen Ester Kidd was born on October 12, 1952 in Philadelphia, Pa. After a brief illness, she went home to be with the Lord on February 9, 2017. Darnell was loving called "Donnie" by family and friends. She received Jesus Christ in her life at a very early age. She loved the Lord and was very active in the church ministry, taught Sunday School and Bible Study classes. She married the late Albert Parker and from this union two sons, Jamal and Idris Parker, were born. Donnie graduated from Manna Bible Institute with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work and her Masters in Social Work from Temple University. Her gifts and talents were demonstrated in her love and fondness for children, family and friends. As a result of her studies in Social Work, Donnie was employed with Temple University, Genesis Adult Counseling Agency, NJ Mentor Program, Communities in Schools, and Eastern High School. Darnell leaves to cherish her memory: her father Billie Kidd, two sons, Jamal (Donean) and Idris Parker, three grandchildren Dominique, Jamal Jr. and Jayla. One great-grand daughter, Jayda, her sister, Linda Jones; 3 nephews Brian (Tonika), Billy, and Richon, three nieces Adaia, Cianni, Brianna and a host of other family and friends.
