Obituary of Pauline Y Gracie

On Wednesday, August 7, 2024, Pauline Yoveen Gracie left preceded us in death. Pauline, one of twelve siblings born to Gilbert and Zelvega McBean on January 15, 1949, in Kingston, Jamaica. Pauline received her formal education at Rousseau Primary and Tarantino Junior Secondary High School. Pauline had two boys, Mark Geddes and Courtney Rose. She later married Herman Gracie to which a baby girl was born Natalie Gracie. She was a housewife for many years. Pauline migrated to Brooklyn, New York in 1986 with her daughter to be with her sisters. She later moved to Camden, New Jersey to be with her sister Sharon in New Jersey. She worked for Camden Board of Education as a lunch aid for a number of years. In 2017 she lost her husband and daughter due to illness. As a result of this loss, she raised her two grandchildren Tasia and Talia. Pauline memory will be cherished by her three children Mark Geddes, Courtney Rose, and her late daughter Natalie Gracie. She leaves behind her four sisters Daphne Ford, Ruby McDonald, Mildred McBean and Sharon McBean and a host of nieces, nephews, grandkids, and great grands. Pauline Gracie was a beautiful journey of love, care and devotion. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
