Frank B. Gordon, Jr., and DeLois Jacqueline Gordon
A devoted couple whose love story spanned over four decades. Frankie and Jackie were married on April 23, 1985, and together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and friendship. Even though Frankie and Jackie had no children of their own, they leave to cherish their memories, a Goddaughter, Dawn.
A celebration of their lives will be held on Friday, October 18, 2024, at 1:00 pm, at William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery, 350 Province Line Road, Wrightstown, NJ, where family and friends are invited to share memories and honor the remarkable love that Frankie and Jackie embodied.

November 3, 1946 - July 2, 2024
Frankie was born in a small Virginia town, living life with joy and passion. A bright spirit, he embraced each moment with love and gratitude, facing challenges with a smile. After high school, he attended Petersburg State College and enlisted in the US Marine Corps. Following his honorable discharge, he moved to Plainfield, NJ, where he became an IT Systems Administrator and later worked for the U.S. Postal Service. An avid martial artist, Frankie earned multiple black belts and had a thirst for knowledge. He loved sports and was cherished by family and friends. Frankie will be remembered for his kindness and the joy he brought by his Aunt Doris and other relatives.
DeLois Jacqueline Gordon
November 20, 1941 - January 25, 2022
DeLois Jacqueline Gordon, affectionately known as “Jackie,” was born in Rocky Mount, NC, to the late Dorothy Bailey and Westry Grover Horne, Jr. A member of Bethel Presbyterian and Trinity Church, she spent many years in Plainfield and Willingboro, NJ. Jackie earned her bachelor’s, master’s, and doctorate degrees from Palmer Memorial Institute, Hampton University, North Carolina Central University, and Rutgers University. A proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., she made a significant impact in education as a preschool teacher and later Director of Administration at NJHMFA. Known for her generosity, Jackie’s warm heart, beautiful smile and infectious laugh will be deeply missed by her sister, Judith Johnson, and many other friends and loved ones.
Though their physical presence is gone, Frankie and Jackie’s love story will continue to be an inspiration. They are now reunited in eternal peace, hand-in-hand, watching over their family and friends from above.
