Q: What will you never forget about Calvin?
A: Mr. Calvin is an unforgettable person. Every morning, we would ride to work together and laugh about the world especially our place of employment.
We were excellent food critics as we explored the many breakfast locations on our way to work. Mr. Calvin was a man that would help anyone, and he surely was a great sounding board for me. As we navigated every morning, we laughed and shared our day to day. He never complained about my driving. Our favorite occupation was to sit in the parking lot of our employment and say, "Do we really wanna walk in that crazy building?" We would reminisce of which of the administrators over the years was the most insane. The vote is still out on that. While in the car, we either turn up the heater or the air conditioner and just enjoy the moment as everyone was rushing into work.
I learned from Calvin to relax and let God do what He do, and though you maybe slighted or short changed don't let it change you. Be about your business.
Over the last 2 years, we would find ourselves on the phone laughing and I could always tell he was smiling and so was I. Rest in PEACE my dear friend, Mr. Calvin.
