On Dec. 5, 1998 and on March 19, 2013 the days started out cloudy, dark and gloomy. Once grandmom and you transcended to your next journeys, the sun came our indicating that you are bought "home'. I will never forget your smile and your dancing. I love you. Kiss and hug grandmom and grandpop, Uncle Bobby and all our other relatives shielding and protecting us with their wings. PEACE

MY ROAR IS BUT A WHISPER
My roar is but a whisper, my soul feels incomplete. Yet theres a tear eternally hanging from my cheek.
My gaze feels its destined to never leave my feet. Then the sunrise came and it lifted my gaze.
The sun looked so absolutely beautiful this morning, it dried those tears on my cheek.
I recalled our Dads smile and laugh, I recalled the embraces weve had. It reminded me, that love is free and plentiful.
You can give it with a word, you can give it with a look and you can give it with an embrace.
I can hear you saying dont hate or fret son that I was kept from you. Embrace the love we shared, now and then.
When you cant walk, let that love carry you.
You will survive storms son and youll have those that will tempt you with their charms. Let love guide you son, itll keep you from harm.
Right now Dad, theres an aching in my very bones. Yet, I know that life goes on. The stress is so great at times, I cant even stand on my feet, all I want to do Dad is sleep.
I need to tell you so much, I need to catch you up on so much, I need to embrace you, and touch your face, I need to show you my new place, I need you to bake another white potato pie, What I wouldnt give to see that sparkle in your eye.
I need you to know I beat the odds, God graced your son with so many blessings, Dad I beat the odds of inner city kids. Though the mistakes Ive made, there were so many I dare not count. But guess what Dad, those Ive helped and guided through life, there were so many I dare not count. For when you do, you lose those blessings, every chance I get Dad, I try to pay it forward and ask nothing in return.
Those prayers of yours Dad, God heard everyone. I never had a broken bone, Ive never gone without a place to call home. Ive always had my daily bread
and just like you, I got these big ol cheeks and this big ol head lol.
I never got to go from Daddy to Dad. But I got to meet the man that made me so proud to call Dad.
Rest well father, I hope God reunites us one day soon. Mean while, your grand kids and great grand kids will be in good hands, hearing about you and seeing pictures of you.
P.S.
Your 3 children love each other and we will take care of each other. Best believe Dad, now that we're back in touch, I will bring the thunder and lightning to keep Jenn & Jess safe.
I will help Ms. Linda in any way I can. The smiles in your photos are a testament to your happiness and love for her, I remember that sparkle in your eye when you told me you found Linda again. I remember that grin when you introduced me to Ms. Linda. Im so happy to have known you found love and your partner in this life father.
