To My Office Mom's Family, I am terribly sorry for your loss. I first met Ms. Diane in 2006 when she interviewed me and recommended me for the position to work with her in NJ DFD's policy unit writing grants. She forever transformed my life both personally and professionally, imparting so much wisdom in such a beautiful and gracious way at a time when I was dealing with so much drama. I immediately adopted her as my office mom! I am forever grateful to know and experience what a living angel Ms. Diane was and having the opportunity of meeting you all at her retirement celebrations, (I was her "praise dancer"). I am ecstatic to know that she enjoyed every part of her life, exemplifying a true woman of God in every way. I would always tell her I'm going to be like her when I grow up, LOL! She just sent me a beautiful card three weeks ago for my 42nd birthday, lifting me up in prayer, as I just experienced a mini-stroke and seizure in my sleep just in July.
The card read:
"Let yourself breathe in the hope of each day and have faith that for each hardship there is a purpose, and from every challenge you will emerge stronger where the path is clear and happiness is yours. Bless You Today and Always."
I am imparting the same message to you all, as I can only imagine your pain. Please be comforted in knowing that she is in God's loving arms now. I will forever miss her, but I know her spirit will forever be around guiding and protecting us the way she always did. I thank God, and am forever grateful to Him, that I too have memories to cherish of Ms. Diane.
