Pastor Barnes: I extend my heartfelt sympathy to you and your entire family. My mother went to Heaven last year. I know how you feel. Although it's bittersweet, it's comforting to know that she is now where she made preparations to be. Cherish every memory and when tears are shed that is fine...tears are a language God understands. I may not be able to be in attendance at the homegoing celebration but wanted to let you know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. Remain Encouraged.

Dear Pastor Barnes: I asked Evang. Pernell to please drop a note to you expressing my deepest concern for you and your family. Although I truly physically desire to be with you and support, I just can't do so at this time, yet there is no distance in prayer. Even though I'm in bereavement, please know I have earnestly been praying for you and your family. Please continue to lift up your head, for redemption draweth nigh. We love you and may the God of comfort give you eternal piece.

I'm sorry for your loss. Death is such a hateful and ugly event that it's called an enemy in the Bible at I Corinthians 15:26. But Gods words in the Bible gives us hope at John 11:25: We will be able to see our loved ones again by means of the resurrection. You can read about those promises at Isaiah 25:8, 26:19, and Revelation 21:3-5. Please read these scriptures in your own Bible.
