Rosa M. Cropper, 89, was the oldest of nine, born June 19,1925, to Lizzie M. and Asbury Collins, of Sparta, Georgia. She met and married Booker Cropper and lived in Philadelphia for 10 years where they were blessed with 2 children, Marvin Sir Lester Cropper and Gwendolyn Cropper Green of Williamstown. New Jersey. In 1960, they moved the family to Williamstown, where they have lived since then on a farm away from the congestion of the city. She worked in the city as a seamstress for Quarter Masters making military uniforms till the war was over. Later she made Botany 500 suites till retirement. She travelled the world with her husband and saw 35 of the 50 united states. Her favorite time outdoors is fishing or gardening. She loved to cook and for you to really enjoy her entrees.
Rosa loved the Lord and spend lots of time in the church ministries of Open Bible with the ladies bible study, senior citizen groups, teaching sunday school class, singing at the nearby nursing homes, and graduating from the soul winning class.
She leaves great memories with her husband, Booker, children, Marvin and Gwendolyn, all of Williamstown, New Jersey, 4 sisters, 2 brothers, 7 grands, 8 great grands, 3 great great grands. a host of relatives and friends. Service on Good Friday, April 3. viewing 9-11 service at 11am. Interment at Gloucester County Veterans Cementary, Tuckahoe Rd., Williamstown. NJ.
