Diana was an incredible advocate for children and their families. She was recognized in 2007 by ZERO TO THREE as a Graduate Fellow because of her devotion to the early care and education field and because ZTT saw her promise as a leader. Personally, I knew I could always count on her to share her views in an objective manner in order to advance quality services. Her family and her "families" have lost a powerful force. She will be missed deeply throughout the early care and education community.

To God be the glory for the things He has done in the life of Diana. She and had no problem sharing her thoughts on issues that impacted the quality of life for children and families. Diana loved her profession and always looked for effective and meaningful ways to serve others. I am so glad I had the opportunity to work with her and along side of her. To the Walker family, I will always remember Diana. I send you a prayer of comfort and my heartfelt sympathy. She was loved throughout New Jersey.
