Obituary of Charles William Harden Jr.

Charles W. Harden, Jr., 48 of Port Norris, son of the late Charles W. Harden, Sr. and Alice M. Harden, departed this life on June 15, 2016, unexpectedly. He was born in Millville, NJ and was raised in Port Norris where he was educated in the Port Norris and Millville School Systems. He later moved to Philadelphia, PA where he was employed at the Widener College in Chester, PA as a maintenance tech. Charles was very talented and some of his hobbies included working with heating and air condition systems. He also enjoyed detailing cars with his brother and nephew. He was a jack of all trades. Scoby as he was so affectionately called, loved spending time with his brother Aaron and nephew Bud, his nieces Calondra, Alexis, Adrionna and his sister Tina as well as other family members and friends. He was an all-around person and he was loved by many. He rededicated his life to the Lord and was a member of the Shiloh Baptist Church of Port Norris. Charles was predeceased by his father and grandmother Lorraine Collins. He leaves to cherish his memory: His mother Alice M. Harden of Port Norris; His brother Aaron and (Angie) Harden of Port Norris; 2 Sisters: Tina and (Harry) Weeks of Millville and Mia and (Samuel) Taylor of Port Norris; 4 children: 3 sons Charles W. Harden III of Bovina, Texas, Johnathon Johnson and Anthony Johnson of Millville and 1 daughter: Lashanda Johnson of Millville; 8 Grandchildren; 2 Special Aunts Dorothy Broughton of Port Norris and Barbara Harden of Millville; 2 nephews; 3 nieces and a host of cousins and other relatives and friends.
