Born on February 19, 1947 in Smyrna, DE to Emma Cochran-Richardson and Thomas Richardson, Carolyn Jean Dennis was a beautiful, happy and lively baby.
Carolyn blossomed into a beautiful and intelligent young woman. Not long after graduating from Smyrna High School… Class of 1965, she met the love of her life at choir practice in a small Baptist church in Elkton, Maryland.Carolyn leaves to cherish her memories, her daughter; Jacqueline Dennis, two sons; Otis Dennis, Sr. and Eric Dennis, eleven grandchildren; Erica, De’Shay, Vantasha, De’Von, Zy’Air, Zi’Yona, Elijah, Otis Jr., Tanaya, O’shon, O’nyra, and O’tayjah, five great-grandchildren, her daughter-in-law; Sandy Bowser, her god-daughter; Chante’ Cornish, god-mother; Georgia Cole along with a host of family, friends and brothers and sisters in Christ.
