Obituary of Dixie R Dickerson

Dixie R. Dickerson daughter of Eddie James Smith and Sarah Eliza herring was on March 19, 1947. She was the younger of twelve children. In June of 1966 she married William Henry Dickerson from this union came two sons William Dickerson, Jr., and David Dickerson, Sr. Two daughters Delores A. Dickerson and Tracy D. Dickerson. Dixie retired from Head Start after many years then worked as private duty caregiver part-time. She was a faithful worker and will be remembered for her caring and giving spirit. Always putting other needs before her own, her smile, loving hugs, great cook, and inflectional laugh that touched everyone around her. Dixie was saved, baptized and Holy Ghost filled. She served as the President of the Usher Board under the leadership of Pastor Kendric Norwood at New Life Refuge Church in Sicklerville, NJ. Dixie leave to celebrate her life. Her husband William Dickerson, Sr., two sons William, Jr. and David, Jr., and two daughters Delores and Tracy. Six grandchildren David, Jr. (DJ), Chavonna, Olivia, Brittaney, Brandon, and Devin Dickerson. Two brothers Edward, and George Smith.
