Obituary of Lorraine A Blake

Lorraine A. Blake Loving Mother, Beloved Sister, Beautiful Grandmom, Cherished Friend Lorraine Annette Blake, daughter of the late Willie and Madie Riggins was born on September 4, 1948.Lorraine received her education at Woodrow Wilson High School in Levittown, Pa, where she excelled in her studies and graduated in 1965. Lorraine met and married the love of her life, Melvin Blake and from this union came three children, Kevin, Gregory and Melna. Lorraine was employed with the State of New Jersey Department of Labor as a Senior Administrative Assistant for many years before retiring in 2011. Lorraine's favorite color was purple, she loved butterflies, dancing and spending time with her family and friends. Lorraine became a baptized Jehovah's Witness at a young age and dedicated the rest of her life to serving Jehovah. Lorraine took her faith seriously and she loved her spiritual brothers and sisters. Lorraine was a very loving person, always there for anyone who needed her. She was loyal, generous and kind. Lorraine loved unconditionally and her warm, gentle smile made an impression upon anyone she met. Lorraine Annette Blake departed this life on November 22, 2016. She leaves to cherish her memories, her children, Kevin and Melna, grandchildren, Tarajah, Najee, Kier, Kayla, Mijah, Courtland, brothers, Richard, Ronald, Robert, sisters, Betty (Danny), Dorothy (David), Michelle (James) and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Lorraine will truly be missed.
