Obituary of Guy Hardy Andrews, Jr.

Life Story On November 18,2016 early in the morning God called Guy Hardy Andrews Jr. home. Guy Hardy Andrews Jr. was born in Albany, GA on September 22,1945 to the late Guy Hardy Andrews Sr. and the late Sarah Andrews. Guy was the second child in this Union of eight children. Guy was educated in the Buffalo NY. school system where he received his diploma. After high school, Guy began his career as a truck driver. Guy had the opportunity to work with companies such as Canada Dry, Acme, Sears, and Cigna. Driving was a passion of his and he enjoyed being on the road especially across the country. Guy also enjoyed reading the Bible, collecting coins, trucks and bike riding. Guy was truly a distinguished gentleman. You would always find him well dressed with Stacy Adams followed by a fresh scent of cologne. Guy was married to Brenda Price on October 13, 1999. He is survived by his wife Brenda Price of 17 years; his children, Nina Andrews, Tamar Bowens, Daysha Lloyd, James Andrews, Jamar Andrews, Jermaine Andrews; (step-children) Nicole Harris and Jeanine Wilson. Mother- in- law, Marjorie Price; Sisters and husbands, Mildred Andrews, Elaine Tyson, Venice, Sandra and Robert Balock, Cynthia and Ray Hughes and Charlotte Jackson; sister - in laws: Jocelyn (David) Lewis, Marjorie (John) Corbin, and Crystal Price and brother in- laws Benjamin Price Jr. and Kevin Price; ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and a host of niece and nephews. Guy will truly be missed by his family and friends. Guy was preceded in death by Melvin Grier.
