I think about you every day. Hey this is football season Big Brother! You wouldn't believe what has happen this year to sports in the USA. I kind-a don't get the same joy of watching football like I did when you were still here. Ya, I'm still a Giants fan and probably will be until...,
We're in the midst of the 2020-National and Local elections cycle and boy you don't know what you're missing. We're also reliving some of the same type protesting as we did in the 6o's post the assassination of Martin L. King. BLM= Black Lives Matter.

To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.
I think about you every day. Thank you for giving me such wonderful memoires and teaching me what it means to be kind.

In Loving Memory-January 30, 2019
Al,
It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone.
A part of us went with you the day God took you home.
In life we loved you dearly, in death, we love you still.
In our hearts, you hold a place no one could ever fill.

It's so hard to say goodbye to someone that was so inspirational, kind and caring. Uncle Al was always there for me and at my greatest time of need. It is such a blessing that he was a part of my life. I will always have very fond memories of the stories he told and the jokes he made. Heaven has gained another angel and I am very sure that Al Kimbrough Junior is looking down upon us.
Your nephew Ed.

Al. You were a rock of Gibraltar, soft-spoken, super-intelligent and always in wisdom overload. And, although, I was the oldest, you towedr over me with your presence, of an inexhaustible supply of patience and wisdom. You exemplified- 1 Corinthians 1:4-5. and showed love in it’s purest form -(Love endures with patience and serenity, love is kind and thoughtful, and is not jealous or envious; love does not brag and is not proud or arrogant. It is not rude; it is not self-seeking, it is not provoked [nor overly sensitive and easily angered]; it does not take into account a wrong endured. Love never fails (nor fads nor ends) Al, you personified these verses with everyone from family, friends, acquaintances and perfect strangers.

Big brother Al,
You called us your tribe, Diana, Pat,Barbara,Jean, Tommy, Robbie, Timmy and Arthur. You stepped up when Mommy and Daddy passed away. You shared, cared, protected, taught, and lead by example and words. You loved us. Once you told me that you would never trade your tribe for any other because you loved us too much, we were the best. You will forever be the light of our lives, always showing us the right way.
