Amos McCall was born on August 3, 1957 in Bridgeton, NJ, to the late F. D. McCall, Sr. and Ella Mae McCall. He departed from this life to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 6, 2017, at Inspira Medical Center with his loving wife, Rita, at his side.
In 1979, Amos met the love of his life, Rita Brooks. They were married in 1989 and the wedding was a joyous event. Later, they were blessed with a beautiful daughter, Shameria.
Amos was educated in Bridgeton Public School System and a graduate of Bridgeton High School. He also attended RETS Electronic School in Broomall, PA where he successfully completed a program in electronic and microprocessor technology.

He later worked for Minot Food Packer, Inc. For the past 26 years, Amos was employed as a hot end operator at Durand Glass in Millville, NJ.
Amos was a down-to-earth person with a great sense of humor, and a genuine love for his family. When he wasn’t spending quality time with his family, he enjoyed playing pool, being at home in his yard, or just relaxing and watching TV with his dog Zoe at his feet.
