Obituary of Artis Larry Lane

Artis Larry Lane of Millville, New Jersey went to be with the LORD on June 23, 2017 while at Inspira Health Center in Vineland, New Jersey after a lengthy illness. He was born on February 27, 1963 in Bridgeton Hospital, in New Jersey. He was the son of the late Edward C. Lane and Julia G. (Campbell) Lane, both deceased. He was a graduate of Millville High School. He was employed as a construction worker/mechanic for 25 years until he retired due to failing health. He was employed by Gary Conblock/Buddy Shimp in Shiloh, New Jersey. He was a member of Faith Outreach Church in Bridgeton, New Jersey. He was a friend to all who knew him. He enjoyed helping out his friends whenever they required assistance with any mechanical issues they had with their vehicles.

Loved ones who preceded Artis in death include his son; Joey Lane, his  parents; Edward C. Lane and Julia Gertrude (Campbell) Lane, brother; Edward Lane, Jr. (who is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Lane).

He is survived by his seven children; Artis Larry Smith, Jr. of Millville, NJ, Diesha Scippio, Julian Atonio Skinner of Salem, NJ, Edward Angelo Skinner of Woodbine, NJ, Ray L. Sherrer of Vineland, NJ, Toshiba Barber Skinner of Virginia, Sade Tangela Lane - Youell (Parris) of Virginia, 18 grandchilldren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends,three sisters and one brother; Eddieann Lane of Salem, New Jersey, Patricia Lane-Jones (Joseph) of Vineland , New Jersey, Vonda Price- McPherson (Reynold Jr.) , and Ronald C. Lane (Vivian Mary Church).

He is also survived by his long time companion, Azlene Hilton, seven
