Garfield Family,
I was sorry to read of the death of your beloved Teresa. You can cherish all the fond memories
you have had with Teresa and no one can take them away from you.
Jesus liken death to a deep sleep or rest. We can appreciate God’s love to know that our beloved
ones are not suffering any pain or heartache. (John 11: 11-14)
Jesus said of himself: “I am the resurrection and the life. He that exercises faith in me, even though
he dies, will come to life.” (John 11:25) Do you find these words comforting?
Under God’s kingdom, there is going to be a global resurrection. Think of the joy of seeing our loved
ones in good health, to hear their familiar voices, and to enjoy their company again. (John 5:28, 29)
May these Bible truths be a source of comfort to you.
