Obituary of Shirley Ann Taylor

Shirley Ann Martin-Taylor 73 of Camden NJ, was called home on July 31, 2018.  Born November 3, 1944 in Darlington, SC, she later moved to Petersburg, VA before making Camden, NJ her home.  Shirley attended school in the Darlington County Public School System in South Carolina.  She loved to cook, dance, spend time with family and friends as well as care for others.  She last worked at KinderCare in Camden. 

Shirley was predeceased by her parents Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Martin Sr.; five brothers, Al Martin, Jessi Martin Jr., Chester Martin, Ernest Martin and Sammy Martin; four sisters Lucille Beasley, Ruthie Mae Rodgers, Louise Collins and Virginia Kelly; two children Benny Martin and Paulette Martin. 

Shirley leaves to cherish her memory:  her husband Roscoe Taylor, step daughter Kathy Taylor,  grandchildren Kevin fields and Rashi Martin; great grandchildren Brittany McDaniel, Niasia Fields, Kevin Fields Jr, Aniyah Ledbetter and Rashaisan Martin; great-great grandchildren Robert Bailey Jr and Pans Brooks; her sister Maggie Cohen; her nephew Willie Martin; a host of nieces and nephews that were devoted and loving; cousins, other relatives and life long friends.
