Brenda Chester, one of my best friends passed away on February 11th 2012�.a memorial service is being held this Saturday at Higher Ground Temple C.O.G.I.C., 208 Vine Street, Camden, NJ 08102 at 10:00 am. Brenda and I met while working at the Camden County Department of Community Development. She was quite active in her community and she would do everything she could for anyone who came to her for help. I admired that about her and she inspired me to become the same type of person, and for a while we were inseparable. After spending a good decade in each other�s company our careers and home lives took us in different directions and we soon spent less time together but our love for each other never dwindled. A few years later I remember Brenda giving me a call out of the blue to come over to her house it was very important that I see her. So I stopped by for a visit as her request. She had come into some money and wanted to share her good fortune with me so she presented me with a check. Although we hadn�t seen each other for over three years she told me that no matter how long we are out of touch with each other we will always be Best Friends and our love for each other will never end. It was one of the proudest moments in my life to know that my friend Brenda never forgot the bond we shared and that we will remain in each others hearts forever. We would talk every couple months usually when one of us were in the middle of a crisis and I would always come away feeling better for it. I will miss her now that she is gone from this earth but having known Brenda and her faith in God and Jesus I know we will be together again, forever in heaven.
