Layla Shyann Lewis was born in Philadelphia, PA on  September 8th, 2008 at Jefferson Hospital to Dianna and  William. Her Spirit ascended to grace on November 28th, 2018.

Layla’s life was a living example of God’s perfect love. Layla was a true princess. She was joyful, her light would brighten the entire room. Everybody she met she touched with love. She was loved by many including her school and medical community. No matter what she has been through she would tell a joke and make you smile.

Layla was educated in a Pennsylvania school system. Her last attended was Calvary Temple Christian Academy where she leaned and worshiped the Lord.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories. Her parents William and Dianna, her righthand/niece Savannah, her siblings Shayla, Ashley, Kyla (Aaron). Her grandmother Joanna Stallworth-Holmes, great maternal grandmother Jessie Holmes. A host of Aunts, Uncles and cousins. Marvin Lewis (biological father).

Layla was proceeded in death by her brothers Cameron, Daron and maternal grandfather John Holmes.
