Obituary

In Honor of Lois Graham

“Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God believe also in me. In my father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.” John 14:1-3.

Lois Graham 67 years young of Willingboro, New Jersey passed away on Tuesday December 25, 2018 at The Samaritan Center and Hospice in Voorhees, NJ.

Lois was born on July 17, 1951 in Florence, NJ to the late Stella Mae Gorham and Markham Garfield Chapman. She was the youngest of 6 siblings, 2 preceded her in death.

Lois had 1 son Aaron Graham and 4 grandchildren. She professed her life to Christ at a young age.  She worked at Subaru as a claims adjuster while caring for her ailing mother full time. After early retirement her devotion to God later led her work as a caregiver for over 30 years of her life. She gave of herself full heartedly to comfort and provide care to those who were in need of support throughout their illness and suffering; she did so with the utmost compassion and love, thoroughly enjoying the work God put forth for her to do. 

Lois enjoyed spending time with her family and walking by the rhythmic patterns of the ocean water along the beautiful coastline from which she lived.  She was a fine cook who often hosted dinner events at her home for family and friends bringing them all together.  She was beloved by all who was blessed to be in her presence.  She will be sorely missed here on earth but is welcomed by those she joined at heaven’s door on that faithful Christmas night.

Lois leaves to cherish her loving memory to her son Aaron Graham, grandchildren : Naijah, Jayden, Cameron, Camille; her brother Markham of Edgewater, NJ, her sister Linda of Mount Laurel, NJ, her sister Carol of San Antonio, TX and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In loving memory of one who inspired so many and instilled such loving memories in others.
