Ricky Lockridge was born to the late Carrie Lockridge and Robert Wilkins, Jr. on January 10, 1959 in Tacoma,  Washington. He started boxing at a very young age. He went on to become an 8 time Felter-Weisnt Champion. Ricky has had countless knockouts as a boxer.

Ricky was also the lead singer and drummer of the band, Ricky Lockridge & the Ready Made Family.

Ricky is preceded in death by brothers, Gus Lockridge, Jr., Henry Lockridge, Floyd Wilkins and Jerry Wilkins; sisters, Henrietta Lockridge, Emma Wilkins and Mary Wilkins.

He leaves to cherish his memory, 3 sons, Ricky Lockridge,    Lamar Lockridge and Raymond Dixon; brothers, David Lockridge, James Wilkins and Eddie Wilkins; sisters, Della Holmes and Eula Wilkins; special care giver of 12 years, Valerie Anderson; Godchildren, Shanequah, Haneef, Jamil, Jalil, Shareef, Shakeer Anderson; nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
