Today is the beginning of a brand new day.
I am praising my Savior in a brand new way.
I am praising my Savior in a brand new place.
I am praising my Savior face to face.
So, do not be sorrowful. No, do not shed a tear.
I am at rest now with my Jesus so near.
I can reach out and touch Him as I worship Him here.
I am so glad I pressed on; so glad I persevered.
I know you will miss me and I will miss you.
But earth is just a rest stop that we must pass through
On the way to our prepared destination
Where my soul can run free in its full restoration.
If you love my Jesus, then I will see you again
And we will praise the Lord together as we join Him in His reign
Over all of Heaven and all of the Earth
As we celebrate earthly death and our Heavenly birth.
