Obituary

Audrey Thomas; mother, daughter, sister, and friend; passed away peacefully at home on October 1, 2019.

As a young girl Audrey traveled the world and lived in different cities and states as an 'army brat' but ultimately made New Jersey her home. She worked as a Retail Marketing             Merchandiser for many years and always enjoyed the work she was doing and the travel it afforded her. Audrey was the beloved mother of two children, Evonda Anita Thomas and Christopher Michael Thomas; both of whom she loved and adored, and was very proud of.  She was the grandmother of 5 grandchildren; Monica Dunkerson, Malachi Dunkerson, Micah Dunkerson, Lilani Thomas, and Rosaleia Thomas. She was the daughter of very loving and supportive parents, Timothy  Thomas and the late Grace E. Thomas.

Audrey was a spirited and strong willed person who loved to laugh and had a great sense of humor. She was a devoted  Christian who loved the Lord. She lived a full life, from studying cosmetology to big rig driving; along with nursing and taking care of the elderly. She wore her heart on her sleeve and was so caring towards anyone in need and was devoted to   helping those in her community.

She is survived by her father, Timothy Thomas; 5 siblings,  Penny Strickland, Sandra Lambert, Vincent Thomas, Amanda Wright and Juniata Farr, a host of nieces and nephews, and many friends; all who loved her dearly.
