Obituary of Andrea Jones

Andrea Belinda Jones (affectionately known as Tiny) went peacefully home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland, NJ, while surrounded by family and friends. Tiny was born on October 28, 1970 in Bridgeton, NJ. She was the daughter of Layton Brinkley Jones, Jr. and Peggy Ann Jones. Tiny attended Glassboro Public Schools.

Tiny was employed by the Vineland Developmental Center for the past seventeen and a half years. As a child, Tiny attended Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Glassboro, NJ, where she sang on the choir and attended Sunday school. She later accepted the Lord as her Savior, was baptized, and joined New Hope Baptist Church, in Cedarville, NJ on October 24, 2010. Tiny loved the Lord and believed in the power of prayer.

Tiny enjoyed shopping and eating out with her family and friends and especially the special breakfast dates and long conversations with her mother. One of Tiny’s favorite past times was going to the Olive Garden with her fiancé, Mike and son, Christian. She also looked forward to an occasional “Girls Night Out” with her co-workers. Tiny loved her son, Christian deeply. She would proud-ly share photos and precious moments of times they spent together. She lovingly spoke of him as her “miracle child”.

Tiny is cherished and survived by her parents; Layton and Peggy Ann Jones, one Son; Christian Mason, two Sisters; Peggy Briggs, of Glassboro, NJ, and Margaret Stafford (Donnel) of Bridgeton, NJ, Step-Father; Donald Wise, two Step-Brothers; Neil and Quincy Wise, a fiancé; Michael Mason, five God Children; Kendra Garretson, Brian Russell Jr., Mar’Kia Durham, Joziah Campbell, Ja’layne Peterson, two very special friends; Agatha Drummond, Elizabeth Dunkle, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews,cousins and friends.
