Mrs. Edwards was my science teacher for two years at Winslow high school. She made such a huge impact on me. Her passion for teaching and for science shined through every day when she taught us. I am now 27 and still remember being in class with her. She was so encouraging and Told me how much potential she saw in me to go somewhere great in a career with STEM. She also was there for me during theater and the plays at the high school cheering me and many other students on. Years later after I graduated I came back to watch a show at the auditorium and saw Mrs. Edwards handing out tickets. She immediately recognized me and gave me a huge hug. She asked me all about my life and how I was doing and when I told her about my success she looked me in the eye and said I had no doubt. When I learned about Mrs. Edwards passing my heart sank. I know that I am not the only one she made an impact on during those impressionable and vulnerable high school years. She was a safe space for me and I will always thank her for that.

I knew Colette through her brother Kelsey. Before her passing, myself, Colette, her husband, her mom, and her brother were at Colette's house having a rather humorous conversation about having children. In the serious moments, Colette said some things that made me think twice about my attitude on the subject. Fast forward several months later, here I am, pregnant! And sick! Very sick! Thanks Colette!!! Lol. She would laugh at that. I just wanted to say that the world lost a beautiful soul this year. She was like an older sister to me (in my mind), and I wish I could have seen her just once more before her transition. Unbeknownst to her, I was planning to come by for a visit with her brother for the holidays, but I guess it just wasn't meant to be. Rest in peace my beautiful friend ❤

I am shocked to hear of Colette's passing. We worked together at Overbrook HS, and I haven't seen her since dissolution. But I remember her warm, beautiful smile, and hanging out at her house one night with other coworkers. We had a blast! She was very friendly. My condolences and prayers go to her husband, children, and other relatives, and friends. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. (2 Corinthians 5:8)

I had the privilege of working with Colette 25+years ago with Rgis Inventory. She would come back every summer on her break from school. We kept in touch over the years. And I would always stop in the Outlets to see her when shopping. She will definitely be missed by all.

It didn't take me long to realize Colette would make an excellent science teacher. As my student teacher she jumped right in and worked on my bulletin board! My wife and I enjoyed seeing Elliot and Colette at our Christmas open house(not sure if Carl did, ask Elliot.). As a Christian, I can only wonder how it feels to be welcomed into God's arms in heaven. Our condolences and prayers to the family. We will miss her.

I have so many memories to share. Colette was a wonderful woman who has touched so many lives professionally and personally. If you knew her you loved her. The world is not going to be the same without her. God has a beautiful new angel. Me and my family will miss you more than you know.
