Alfred Rogers, 78 years old of Magnolia, NJ passed away April 21, 2020 in Magnolia, NJ. Gravesite Services will be held at Berlin Cemetery on Monday, April 27, 2020 at 2:00pm with Pastor Woodrow Wilson of Love Fellowship Church, Philadelphia, Pa Officiating. Alfred Rogers was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on September 30, 1941. He went to John Harris High School and graduated in 1959. He went onto serve in the United States Marine Corps in 1960. He served in the Vietnam War with an Honourable Discharge in 1970. Alfred worked for John Wanamakers, Philadelphia, PA in Programming, then Project Manager for over 20 years. He then worked for Tiffany & Co., and moved onto Burlington Coat Factory for 16 years where he retired as Director in Programming. He enjoyed the outdoors, Philadelphia Eagles, fishing, making people laugh, cooking and family barbeques. Alfred Rogers is survived by his beloved wife Grace Rogers and daughter Jacqueline Rogers. He is also survived by family and friends in Harrisburg, Pa, Virginia, West Virginia, Dallas Texas, New Jersey and Maryland. He is preceded in death by his brothers Dwayne Rogers, Eugene Rogers, Jr, mother Julia, father Eugene Rogers, Sr and his stepmother Elizabeth Rogers. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the Nurses and Healthcare workers at Samaritan Healthcare & Hospice.
