My deepest and sincerest condolences to the Lee family. To say I was shocked would have to be the understatement of the year. My heart sank as I yelled “Tony, who?” as if by saying that it would have made it not so. I consider myself privileged to have known and worked with Tony and blessed to have called him a friend. May the family take pride and solace knowing that the world is a better place because he was in it. What a great example of what men can be. Not perfect but as a positive force in the lives of everyone who knew him. To show what wonderous praise and respect one can achieve in a single lifetime. I will never forget him.

MSgt Lee was my introduction to the Air Force and my first Section Chief. Many of the lessons I learned from him are what I now get to pass to my brand new airmen.
Thank you MSgt Lee and, as you would say just before departing for the day, it's been real. ✌
You will be missed.

While I only worked with Tony for a short time at the VA, I learned quickly what a kind, caring, and loving man he was to his friends and family. When a coworker/friend became very ill and had to have life-saving surgery, he was constantly by his side at the hospital providing support and comfort to his pal. At our morning meetings, he would tell everyone of Lou’s progress every step of the way, and you could see the hope in his eyes and hear it in the sound of his voice that Lou was going to be OK. As I watched/listened to the service today, and heard the heart-felt eulogies that his wife, family, and friends gave, I really learned a lot about Tony’s life that I didn’t know before. Aside from being a loving husband, father, son, and devoted friend to many, his 26 years of honorable service in US Air Force, being Master Sgt, receiving many ribbons and awards for many tours completed, putting his life on the line for protecting our freedom, gave me a lot of in site into his character. Tony was a GREAT MAN and I feel very honored to have worked with him!!. To all who mourn, may the joyous times and happy memories that you had with Tony always be a source of comfort and strength!! RIP my friend.

This is one of the hardest things that I ever had to do – say goodbye to a friend/brother. We clicked from the moment we met working in ITOPS at the VA. He was my brother from another mother. I will always cherish the conversations/talks we had. His wife Sowolo is such a beautiful person – I truly thank God for her. I remember when my husband had surgery – he told me that his family was praying for him. He would always ask me how he was doing. That meant so much to me. He was such a giving person but believe me when he was mad he was mad and he let you know it. I am not saying goodbye because we will meet again someday. We will pick up where we left off before you went away. We will have so much to talk about – RIP. To the Lee family, cherish the memories that he left behind. God will never leave you nor forsake you. Keeping you in my prayers always - your sister forever Conchita “C” Sanders

When I think of Anthony, there are many words that can describe a person’s character. Two of them for me is servant and friend. He never thought twice when I needed help on the job, a true professional that made sure it’s done right and on time, but what made it a great experience is the conversation and wisdom he would share as a friend that made it personal and unique. May his Spirit have complete peace now that his transition is complete....

Through his wife, Sowolo, I met Tony. From the moment I met him which was only a few years ago, I felt like I knew him forever. It may be strange to say but it was like he was a big brother teasing me about my love of the Eagles (as he was a NY Fan)---we were comfortable with each other right off the bat to "trash talk" the other's favorite football team. I was his contact when our office planned a baby shower for his wife a couple of years ago and we managed to keep it a secret from her. I would also see Tony fairly regularly when he would drop his wife to work as we started work at the same time. He always had a smile and hello or wave for me when I saw him. My heart was so very deeply saddened and shocked upon hearing of his sudden and unexpected passing---and was especially sorry and heart-broken for his wife, his daughter, his extended family, his friends, and coworkers. I only knew Tony a relatively short time but he had an impact on me as I saw how much he loved his family. I can only imagine how others who have known him longer feel. Prayers to all who knew him and loved him--the world is a little less bright without Tony in it but may all that loved him remember the man he was and have solace in their memories of him. Sincerely, Janet Dustman
